The Church of Satan has acknowledged the praise given by Hollywood actor, Christian Bale, to Satan.
Christian Bale thanked Satan for giving him inspiration on how to play ex-Vice President Dick Cheney in a movie titled Vice, for which he won a Golden Globes Award.
Bale made the remarks during his Golden Globes Awards acceptance speech on Sunday night.
See the YouTube video of the remark posted by Marcus Rogers:
In response, the Church of Satan hailed Bale for delivering the line in a tweet that quickly went viral:
To us, Satan is a symbol of pride, liberty and individualism, and it serves as an external metaphorical projection of our highest personal potential. As Mr. Bale’s own talent and skill won him the award, this is fitting. Hail Christian! Hail Satan! https://t.co/ILuK8TFZXi

Reactions to Bale’s speech are diverse:
You do realise him thanking Satan for inspiration is a jab at Cheney and not an actual praise to the Dark Lord, right?

He should just change his name to Anti- Christ(ian) Baal, since he’s literally the opposite of a Christian and probably worships Baal, Baphomet and/or Lucifer. Many “A- listers” practice Satanism. Perfect religion for those selfish, narcissistic elitist twits. 😏

Normally I would say that everyone has his faith but in this case I think it is more appropriate to say that everyone has their problems!
